| Judge's comment: An interesting approach to haiga, the combination of flat image and 3-D objects. This box-like approach instantly reminds me of the art boxes created by Joseph Cornell (http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/cornell/), whose artworks I very much admire. A nice challenge to new type of haiga. |
