| Judge's comment: This is the image of a kanji meaning nest. The kanji is slightly off- balance, but it is OK. The lines of the kanji seem to remind me of the leafless branches, and work well with the content of the haiku. Just one thing, I do not think the shade areas on both sides are necessary. |
