| Judge's comment: First submission from Algeria. I lightened the photograph a bit for the faces were too dark. It would have been better if there were a bit more light from the camera side. The direct flash light of the camera might be too bright. The brightness might spoil the mood of the photo. What can be done is to cover the flash light part of the camera with a handkerchief and click. As for the verse, it may suite for a Tanka, rather than a haiku. |
