| Judge's comment: Well balanced haiga; the content of both haiku and photograph go well. One thing bothers me is the size and placement of the haijin's name. It is a bit too loud in this quiet haiga. Typed words in picture should be seen as line, and you do not want to have a storng visual break at the middle of a picture. It should have been much smaller, placed closer to the haiku verse. In this way, there will be more flow in the picture plane. |
