| Judge's comment: Nice photograph with feeling. Almost like a postcard. There are two volcanos on the island of Hawaii. Mauna Loa has been inactive for many many years, enabling many observatories to be erected, whereas Kilauea volcano is very active, enlarging the island time to time. I think the haiku need a little more pondering, especially the second and third lines. |
