| Judge's comment: I do not know why this photograph is all bluish, even the white of the sail is bluish. This makes the photograph a little monotonous. Slightly slanted horizon is rather uneasy to look, which gives different feel from the relaxed, dreamy feel of the haiku verse. The verse and the yacht are both on the right half of the picture plane, which makes the left half almost unnecessary. The best composiiton would have been that the yacht placed on the left side somewhere. |
