The branch at the upper right corner is not necessary if the placement of the verse is a little to the right and slightly lower. This is what happens when the time of excusion of the painting and addition of the verse differs. When the painting is done, the branch was necessary to balance the upper space. When the verse is added, shift of balance occurs so rearrangement sometime becomes necessary.
