WHA Junior Haiku Contest 2007

Guidelines:
1. Submission from children under 18 years of age from all over the world. Each child may submit three haiku, one in each section; see the themes.
2. The information accompanying the haiku must be on the form: name, age, sex, address, email address, and signature of a parent or a schoolteacher.
3. Language of submission: any but desirable to add an English or French translation.
4. Submission by email or by post.
5. Submission fee: NONE; the contest is free.
6. Deadline: 1 August 2007

Themes: Love, peace, friendship...in any season.
Prizes: A WHA certificate of merit, a copy of World Haiku 2008 (edited by Ban’ya Natsuishi WHA, published by Shichigatsudo, Japan, December 2007), and the announcement of the winning haiku at the 4th WHA Conference (WHAC4) at Meiji University, Tokyo, 15 September 2007. Prizewinners’ haiku will be included in World Haiku 2008.
Number of Prizes: 10 in all; 7 honorable mentions, one third prize, one second prize and one first prize.
